Background Screenings
Mayberry Investigations obtains all types of background information for our clients in the areas of employment, business, personal matters or legal concerns. In this day and age, a small investment on the front end of a new professional or personal relationship will ensure that you make an informed decision about those entering your workplace, life or home. If someone else's past is going to become part of your future, performing a background investigation simply makes sense. Our screening process is customizable to your needs and in response to the background checks you prefer.
All background searches include our
Sex Offender Registry Services and Prohibited Parties Search.
Sex Offender Registry Searches
We search the most updated information to determine if the subject has been convicted of sexually related offenses to ensure you maintain a safer environment. If a “hit” is uncovered we will always take the extra step to verify information with the responsible state or local law enforcement agency where the offender resides, works or attends school.
Prohibited Parties Searches
A prohibited party is defined as “specially designated nationals, terrorists, narcotics traffickers, blocked persons and vessels and parties subject to various economic sanctioned programs who are forbidden from conducting business in the United States, as well as entities subject to license requirements because of their proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.”
At Mayberry we search federal databases in order to identify prohibited parties. This search is a necessity for all industries and positions and is used to identify persons deemed as a threat by the United States and any risks or associations that may deem an applicant dangerous.
We can also research an individual and their related parties in order to determine whether any of the subjects are included on the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) List of Specially Designated Nationals, the OFAC Non-SDN Palestinian Legislative Council List, the HUD Limited Denial Participation List, or the HUD Debarment List.
